TouchScreen Phone For Those With Hearing Inability

In the recent periods, there were few inventions In the tech market for the physically challenged. The most recent of these inventions is a touchscreen cell phone for those with no ability to speak and hear.

How Does The Cell phone Work?

This phone has two pillars that pull out and open into a touchscreen. When someone who can’t speak keys in the albhabets, the system changes the text into voice and sends it across the called person. And from the receiving side, when the called person talks out something, the voice is turned into text and sent over. The second round process is similar to speech-to-text recognition.

This makes things much simpler for those with hearing issues. Another similar app for these unique folks is the Nokia Braille Reader released sometime back by Nokia.The Brialle Reader is for those who are visually impaired. the device facilitates them use the SMS service fully. The Cell phone uses vibration as a mode to recognize the characters after which it turns these into Braille form; thus, helping the person read the text. This app was out in the market for download in October 2009 and is compatible with a few Nokia phones.

Yet one more addition on the list is the Panasonic Robotic Bed cum Wheelchair. This Robotic Bed is designed such that it can be converted into a wheel chair whenever necessary. And all this- switching from Bed to chair, and chair to Bed doesn’t call for support. That is physically challenged can help himself/herself in moving forward the wheelchair from one corner of the house to some other place, and using the chair as the Bed when they want to rest. This is absolutely an excellent concept which helps make the physically challenged dependant on none.

Hopefully in future we get to see several such inventions and technology which lower the gap between the fortunate and the unfortunate, and make technology a bliss for many.
